All of our products are new in box and fully guaranteed by the manufacturer. The complete warranty is included with any product for sale at Turtle Marine. The manufacturers' warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts, subject to the conditions set forth by the manufacturer, in most cases up to one year.
Turtle Marine offers a generous return policy to ensure total customer satisfaction:
Extended Holiday Return Policy: All Orders placed after Nov. 9th, 2009 can be returned as late as January 15th, 2010!
As of the day Turtle Marine ships your order, we offer a 30-day return policy on all items unless otherwise noted on the individual product page. Your return must be shipped back to us by the 30th day after we send your order, or your return will be refused. After the 30-day period, customers must contact the manufacturer for direct return or repair information.
Turtle Marine will exchange defective units and parts to the customer with no restocking fees. Customers seeking to return for a refund, not exchange, defective items will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. Customers may also replace defective items with other items of equal or greater value with no fees; you are not obligated to replace with the same model.
For unopened items, there is no return fee to receive Turtle Marine store credit or exchange for another item of equal or greater value, but to receive a refund there is a 5% restocking fee.
For opened, non-defective items (excluding software), there is a 5% fee to receive Turtle Marine store credit, or a 10% fee to receive a refund.
Please note: All exchanged/returned merchandise must be in original factory condition, including all packaging materials, inserts and manuals, and all accessories. For this reason, units that have been installed, cracked, severely scratched, abused, or that are missing the original UPC code on the box will not be accepted for return or credit and must be returned directly via the manufacturer. In addition, any software, including pre-programmed datacards, that have been opened can only be returned directly to the manufacturer. Extended warranties that have been opened or registered may not be returned (you may contact the manufacturer and transfer it to another product, however). We can only offer a refund using the form of payment originally used by the customer.
Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the package! Before you send merchandise back, please be sure to check that you have not left any of your own memory cards or other accessories in the unit.

Please Note: Turtle Marine cannot be held responsible for packages until they are delivered to us, so please use a trackable and insured means of shipping (UPS or Fedex) or at least get Delivery Confirmation with USPS priority mail. For most returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees. For all international returns and exchanges, the customer is responsible for freight both ways. For domestic customers exchanging defective merchandise only, Tiger GPS will reimburse ground shipping fees if you send us your shipping receipt, up to $7.95. Please note that Turtle Marine cannot issue any other types of shipping refunds.
Please check your order as soon as it is received. We allow only 48 hours from time of delivery to make any claims for missing or damaged items. If your package arrived open please check contents before you accept the package. Make delivery personnel know of any problems.
Once we receive your return we will ship your replacement or process your credit within 4-7 days. When returning an item, please do not initiate a chargeback with your credit card company. We will credit your card for your return, and a chargeback results in excessive additional costs to Turtle Marine, which we will be forced to pass on to the customer. We vigorously work with law enforcement authorities to investigate and prosecute the fraudulent use of credit cards.
If there is a dispute of any kind, we will work with the customer to achieve a fair resolution. Our goal is complete customer satisfaction.
