The Garmin GPSMAP 440 currently comes in six configurations:
The GPSMAP 440 is a GPS chartplotter only; the GPSMAP 440x is a chartplotter with a GXM 31 antenna.
The GPSMAP 440s is a GPS chartplotter/sonar combo; the GPSMAP 440sx is a GPS chartplotter/sonar combo with a GXM 31 antenna. They include a dual frequency plastic transom mount transducer for saltwater use; you can also get the GPSMAP 440s without transducer and GPSMAP 440sx without transducer, if you prefer any other transducer type.
