| The Northstar 491 Fishfinder is the new power-packed, "black box" fish finder component for Northstar's 6000i and 972 systems. This unit gives you the same screen clarity for under-the-water information that you would expect from Northstar's unmatched chartplotter, GPS, and radar.
The 491 is loaded with enhanced target and bottom discrimination characteristics for precise distinction between bait fish and larger fish, along with bottom types.
Northstar's legendary SoundTrac gives you the ability to scroll back to a target in the screen's history, mark it, and easily navigate to it. The Northstar 491 is feature rich: 50/200kHz. 600/1000W. Bottom Lock. A Scope. White Line. Alarms for depth, fish, and temperature. Northstar matched transducers. Each feature can be tuned to fit your needs. Or, simply leave the 491 in auto mode and start fishing.
